To further develop and grow this ambition we are looking for a Manager Capacity Planning. YOUR JOB: As Manager Capacity Planning you have the challenging task to lead and develop a team of shopfloor schedulers and a regional master planner in a very dynamic and changing environment. Your team is responsible for capacity planning of the Processing and Quality Control activities across all crops . It is your mission to contribute to a consistent supply of seeds to our customers through a regional integrated Processing & Quality Control capacity plan, ensuring manufacturing orders and tests are completed on time and capacities are used in an (cost and time) effective and efficient manner. You will closely work together with your team, which consists of 4 schedulers and a regional master planner. You will report directly to the Regional Head of Supply Chain EMEA. You will have frequent contact with colleagues from Global and Regional Supply Planning, Seed Processing, Quality Control and Production. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and develop the team to ensure the skill set and motivation are in line with the company strategy and agreed performance levels. Set goals for your team and follow up within the agreed HR process, taking into account personal development goals and company/departmental targets. Review and improve business processes, including system tooling in close cooperation with all relevant stakeholders. Lead an effective discussion with stakeholders in case of escalations from the team. Periodic review and follow up of agreed KPIs. Strong drive to learn and understand both the market needs and the shop floor processes to be able to assess the impact of scheduling decisions. WORK EXPERIENCE To successfully execute this challenging position, you require well-developed skills in people management and communication. Your job will be performed in a dynamic environment, requiring flexibility and assertive decision-making . You ideally have the following skills and attributes: Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain, Business Administration or related field Minimal five years’ experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, preferably a planning department Management experience required Knowledge of planning tools and processes Competencies: Well-developed leadership skills Effective communication Continuous improvement mindset Interested in this job?
