What are we looking for? At Ampowr we’re currently at a steep growth stage, and we are at the exciting stage of scaling and automating our operations. As our specifics is running operations on-site, we are looking at building rock-solid procedures to improve our networking and industry standardisation. As our next System Engineer, you will be our reference in this process. In this role, you will work on setting up and configuring different sites. Our model is hybrid-cloud, therefore, maintaining and improving the company’s infrastructure is one of the most important tasks for this role. You will work closely with the Software development team that usually sets up sites. Software (and business in general) specifics require reliable connectivity, different access-levels and scalability. Thanks to your extensive experience in DevOps, you will coach the team in designing, building, testing and deploying changes to existing software. Together with the Head of Software Engineering you will enhance the company’s IT infrastructure security and Incident Management protocols. Also, you will be responsible for identifying manual processes that can be automated. To be successful in this role, you are expected to: Build a scalable hybrid-cloud network: Design and implement a robust network architecture that seamlessly integrates on-premises infrastructure with cloud platforms to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. Set up sites and remote access to them: Deploy and configure IT infrastructure at office locations while enabling secure and reliable remote access for users via VPNs or other access technologies. Manage and resolve incidents: Monitor systems for issues and respond swiftly to IT incidents by diagnosing problems, restoring service, and documenting resolutions. Contribute to Cyber Security and Incident Management program: Support the organization’s cybersecurity posture by implementing security controls, participating in risk assessments, and helping manage responses to security incidents, inline with ISO 27001 requirements. Work on automation: Develop and maintain scripts or tools to automate tasks and streamline system management through infrastructure-as-code and configuration management solutions. Requirements: Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field. 5 year-experience with DevOps field (Public Clouds, CI/CD pipelines, automation). 3-5 years experience in Networking (L2/L3, BGP). Experience with Terraform (preferable). Proficient in English language. Proven work experience with Incident Management. Possess of relevant IT security certification (ie ISO 27001/LA, CISM, CISSP) or willingness to obtain one. Vendor/third party audit and compliance management. What do we offer?
