Senior Buyer Hours: MondayFriday, 8:30am5:00pm Location: Cornwall Hybrid Working Take ownership of £15£20 million in annual spend and lead a growing procurement team within a forward-thinking environmental manufacturing business. We're looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to manage strategic procurement activity across our manufacturing and installation operations. Youll be responsible for sourcing high-value materials and services, supplier management, cost optimisation, and driving continuous improvement. Youll also line manage an Assistant Buyer and a Purchasing Administrator and play a key role in the integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365. Key Responsibilities: Manage procurement of high-value materials, goods and services Lead and develop two direct reports Deliver cost savings, supplier performance, and risk management Support Dynamics 365 implementation and procurement data accuracy Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet operational needs Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and maintain procurement documentation What We're Looking For: 5 years in a Senior Buyer, Buyer, Purchasing Manager or Supply Chain Manager role within manufacturing Strong MRP knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) CIPS qualification is desirable Proven negotiation, leadership and supplier management skills Analytical, methodical and highly organised This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in a key role with genuine career progression.
