Senior General Foreman – Concrete Structural Building Project 📍 Location: Near Airport Industri

A well-established construction company is looking for a Senior General Foreman to take the lead on a major concrete building structure project based near Airport Industria, Cape Town. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in heavy concrete works and structural building projects. Key Responsibilities: Supervise all site activities, ensuring daily progress, productivity, and safety. Direct and manage teams of foremen, artisans, labourers, and subcontractors. Interpret drawings, coordinate concrete works, formwork, rebar, and structural sequencing. Ensure quality control and compliance with specifications and safety standards. Plan and monitor day-to-day construction activities and resource allocation. Report progress and challenges to the Site Agent and Project Manager. Requirements: Minimum 10 years experience in building construction, with at least 5 years in a Senior General Foreman role. Strong background in concrete structural building (multi-storey preferred). Excellent technical knowledge of formwork, steel fixing, and concrete placement. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proven experience managing large teams and working under pressure.
