DSP Algorithm Researcher - Optical Location: Onsite in Paris, France A major tech company is seeking talented candidates for junior and senior research positions in the field of digital signal processing (DSP) for optical communications and related applications. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about algorithm innovation and hardware implementation for next-generation optical systems. Key Responsibilities: Conduct research and innovation in digital signal processing for optical communications and related applications. Develop advanced theories, design algorithms, perform analyses, and run simulations. Generate intellectual property and contribute to patent filings. Collaborate with internal teams and business units to apply research outcomes. Establish and maintain strong collaborative associations with university researchers. Qualifications & Requirements: Ph.D. degree in Signal Processing, Communications, or a related field. Strong background in telecom communication, physical layer algorithm design, and machine learning or related background. Proficiency in Python and other relevant programming and simulation tools. Ability to perform independent research while effectively working in a team-oriented environment. Track record of publications in leading journals (e.g., JLT, PTL, Opt.
