About the Company: Our client is an International Insurance company seeking a talented Tax Lawyer or Consultant to join their team in Amsterdam. Role Overview: The Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating risks and determining appropriate insurance coverage for clients. This position involves close collaboration with brokers and intermediaries to develop tailored insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their legal/market expertise to navigate complex insurance risks. Key Responsibilities: Assess and underwrite insurance applications, ensuring all policies meet legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with brokers and intermediaries to craft customized insurance products. Conduct thorough risk assessments, making informed decisions on policy terms and pricing. Contribute to the development of new insurance products to meet market needs. Maintain compliance with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements. Qualifications: 2 plus years of Corporate Tax Law or Transactional Risk experience Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
