Job Description
Corporate Account Executive A fantastic and genuine Account Executive position has become available within our Denton, Manchester office. This is a genuine Account Executive position inheriting a large book of business with minimal targets for New Business activity. The long-standing book of clients, including 7 figure high street brands, is made up of mid to large corporate risks which cover general as well as some specialist areas high hazard, high risk, manufacturing, woodwork and food specialisms with a bias leaning towards property led business. Obvious travel will be expected in this role and as such a car allowance is provided along with a generous and salary and package. We are not looking for an out an out sales executive we ideally would like someone with a good technical commercial insurance background in some of our specialist areas and most importantly a personable attitude to continue with the inherited clients/book. Full support is in place by an experienced & technical team of Broking and Claims professionals. This role is responsible for building and nurturing long-term client relationships, offering personalised insurance advice and developing tailored solutions to meet clients' needs. As the primary point of contact, you will ensure a seamless client experience by providing exceptional service and expert guidance. Your efforts will drive performance and revenue growth, with a focus on delivering good customer outcomes, client satisfaction and business results. Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and tailored insurance advice whilst delivering timely, compliant, and effective administration and processing on core systems. Ensuring: Good customer outcomes. Prevention of foreseeable customer harm. Adherence to all regulatory requirements. Clients achieve their financial objectives. The role is a balance between driving business success, ensuring compliance, and fostering strong client relationships, making it essential to both client satisfaction and the long-term success of the business. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor by leveraging all of PIBs resources. Assess client needs and offer tailored solutions covering insurance, risk management, and employee benefits. Provide exceptional service by reviewing, arranging, and securing the most suitable coverage with competitive pricing. Drive income growth and client retention by enhancing transaction activity, including ISBs and bursaries where appropriate, while meeting clients insurance needs. Monitor and manage own performance to achieve business objectives by providing accurate forecasts and tracking progress against targets Develop and manage a profitable portfolio of general insurance business through insurer panels to meet branch goals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimal outcomes for clients and support group wide initiatives including Advisory. Cultivate client and insurer relationships to maximise business opportunities and meet KPIs. Place insurance business within authority limits and refer complex cases to the Regional Broking/Branch Director. Continuously evaluate and update client insurance programs, keeping them informed of market changes. Handle general broking tasks, including: Managing client queries and correspondence. Handling new business, renewals, and adjustments, ensuring clear communication of terms and pricing. Conducting insurer surveys and ensuring risk improvements are implemented. Managing the diary and meeting deadlines. Ensure timely and compliant processing across core systems, using PIBs platforms effectively for accurate management and reporting. Document meetings and communicate relevant actions to the client service team. Follow company policies and procedures, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues. Report and help resolve breaches, complaints, and errors, while seeking continuous improvement based on QA and compliance feedback. Liaise with Finance and Credit Control to promptly address and resolve queries. Participate in meetings, events, and training sessions to fulfil CPD requirements. Why Join Us?
