Senior Development Chemist – Beauty & Personal Care Location: South West England Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (based one experience) Do you have a passion for creating innovative beauty products? We’re recruiting on behalf of a brilliant beauty business based in the South West – and they’re on the lookout for a Senior Development Chemist to lead formulation projects and play a central role in bringing cutting-edge beauty products from concept to commercial launch . What You’ll Be Doing: Leading formulation development across skincare, body care and beauty products Guiding and mentoring junior chemists Overseeing lab-based product testing and stability trials Collaborating closely with NPD, Marketing, and Supply Chain to bring products to life Ensuring regulatory compliance and documentation is spot on Playing a pivotal role in scaling up from lab to manufacturing What We’re Looking For: A hands-on chemist with strong formulation experience in the Beauty, Cosmetics or Personal Care industry Someone who loves the lab and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Experience leading projects and mentoring junior team members Up-to-date knowledge of cosmetic regulations, raw materials, and manufacturing processes A curious, solutions-focused mindset with great attention to detail Why This Role?
