HGV 1 Driver

Driver Hire Motherwell are currently recruiting for a HGV 1 (CE) driver to work on a contract with our busy client running out of Coatbridge. Work can include RDCs, trunking and store deliveries so must have a flexible approach to work. Shift Pattern . Various start times that include days, backs and nights . Start times of 0145 to 0700, 1400 to 1800 . Saturday included every second weekend . Monday to Friday Duties can include but not limited to; . Delivering pharmaceutical and store goods . Daily vehicle checks at the start and end of shift . Store Deliveries, RDCs, Trunking . Loading and unloading . Handball will also be required on some routes Before the work commences, you will be first asked to complete an on site induction with out client followed by introduction training. You must have; - Excellent customer service- - Ability to carry out manual handling - Good time keeping to keep up with deliveries - A valid CPC card - A digital tachograph card - No more than 6 points on your licence * * DD, DR or IN endorsements are not accepted. Wages & benefits; - Monday to Friday: £15.00 ph PAYE - Overtime & Saturday: £16.50 ph PAYE - 28 days holidays pro rata on PAYE - Monday to Friday: £16.81 PAYE Advanced - Weekly paid - Pension contributions after qualifying period - 8hr minimum guaranteed per day
