HGV Class 1 Driver – Walking Floor Experience a Bonus! Location: Kirkcaldy Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00 Start Date: ASAP Position Type: Temporary (with ongoing opportunities!) Pay: £15.00 – £16.81 per hour (PAYE or Advanced Holiday Pay options) Enhanced rates for overtime every 2nd Saturday shift available! Are you a confident Class 1 driver with a can-do attitude and a steady hand on the wheel? DH Recruitment and Driver Hire Fife are on the lookout for a skilled and dependable driver to join our team, supporting a well-established client in the haulage of recyclable waste. If you’ve got walking floor trailer experience – fantastic. If not – we still want to hear from you! Your Role Will Include: · Driving Class 1 vehicles with moving floor trailers for bulk haulage of recyclable materials · Loading, transporting, and delivering to multiple sites in a timely and safe manner · Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any issues · Staying compliant with road safety and transport regulations What We’re Looking For: · Valid Class 1 (CE) Licence · Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card · Walking floor experience preferred – but not essential · A strong work ethic, reliability, and great communication skills · Previous experience in a similar role is a big plus!
