Primary Learning Support Assistant Richmond September 2025 Start Location: Richmond, South West London Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only) Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE) Interviews: June/July 2025 Are you a graduate interested in supporting primary pupils learning and development? A popular primary school in Richmond is recruiting a Primary Learning Support Assistant to help children across Key Stage 1 and 2. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to build classroom experience before pursuing teacher training or education work. As a Primary Learning Support Assistant, youll support pupils in literacy, numeracy and broader curriculum activities. Youll help deliver interventions, assist with behaviour management and support inclusive learning. The school is known for its caring ethos and excellent parental engagement. Key responsibilities: Supporting pupils in literacy and numeracy activities Running small group and one-to-one interventions Helping manage behaviour and encourage positive relationships Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation Were looking for: A 2:1 or above in any subject, with a keen interest in primary education A patient, encouraging and positive attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Availability for the full academic year, September 2025 to July 2026 Please note: Applicants must hold a UK undergraduate degree.
