Travel Sterile Processing Tech - $1,268 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: Sterile Processor - Certified Profession: Sterile Processor Specialty: Central Sterile Processing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of two years of instrument processing experience required; one year of travel experience preferred License: High School diploma, GED, or College completion required Certifications: CBSPD, HSPA, or IAHCSMM certification required Must-Have: - Certification in sterile processing and distribution - Two years of instrument processing experience - One year of travel experience Description: Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, includes weekend rotation. Prepares sterile supplies such as instrumentation, medical/surgical supplies, and metalware for use throughout the facility. Preparation of supplies includes decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution. Responsible for operating equipment utilized for these processes, such as washer/decontaminators and sterilizers. Plays an important role in the delivery of quality patient care by understanding and utilizing good infection control practices related to decontamination and sterilization.
