The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates are required to have a minimum of two years of experience in a CVI Lab as a Vascular Technologist. On-call requirements include two 24-hour weekend shifts per month, consisting of one Saturday and one Sunday, and five 12-hour weekday on-call shifts per month. There is a one-hour response time for call-ins. The candidate must be state-licensed, certified in ARRT R, BLS, and ACLS. Essential skills include proficiency in special procedures, PACS, maintenance of equipment, stocking of supplies, and various specific procedures including angioplasty and aortography. Preferred certifications include ARRT VI and preferred skills such as renal angiography and ultrasound. Familiarity with Philips and Siemens equipment and the ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias are also preferred. Light blue scrubs are provided for this role. It is required to have a prior travel assignment experience. Orientation consists of 28 hours. Modules related to the role are to be completed pre-start or during orientation.
