Couterbalance And Flexi FLT Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Counterbalance & FLT Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate forklifts. The FLT Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of materials within our organisation. Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Manage shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against purchase orders. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups using the warehouse management system. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles to ensure safety and reliability. Assist with equipment repair as needed, demonstrating mechanical knowledge. Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimise materials handling processes. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and in the warehouse. Qualifications Proven experience in a driving role, preferably within a warehouse or logistics environment. Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures is essential. Strong skills in load unloading techniques and materials handling. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Experience operating forklifts; relevant certifications are advantageous. Basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping. A valid FLT licence is required. Sunday - Friday Working hours between 8am and 5pm
