Site Manager – Residential Construction South East London | Up to £65,000 Benefits Are you an experienced Site Manager with a solid background in residential construction? We’re representing a well-established and rapidly expanding contractor renowned for delivering high-quality residential developments across South East London. Due to continued growth, they’re now looking for a confident and capable Site Manager to take the lead on-site, ensuring smooth delivery of residential schemes from groundworks through to final handover. About the Role: As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction activities on site. You’ll ensure that works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations on site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with programme Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, trades, and suppliers Ensure all work meets required quality standards and complies with building regulations Monitor site progress, identify issues early, and take proactive steps to resolve them Implement and uphold all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) standards Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, progress reports, and H&S documentation Collaborate with the commercial and technical teams to support smooth project delivery Represent the company on-site, fostering good relationships with clients, neighbours, and stakeholders What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction (new build or refurbishment) Strong understanding of UK building regs, NHBC standards, and health & safety legislation Excellent organisational and leadership skills Able to coordinate multiple trades and keep projects on schedule Confident communicator with a proactive, hands-on approach SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certificates (essential) Relevant qualifications in construction (NVQ Level 6, HNC/HND or similar) preferred What’s in it for You?
