Pipe Fitter Mate

Job Advert: We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Pipe Fitter Mate to assist our pipe fitting team on a busy [residential/commercial/industrial – choose one] site in [Location]. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanical experience or site knowledge looking to develop their skills alongside experienced pipe fitters on a long-term project. Key Responsibilities: * Assisting pipe fitters with installation of pipework (e.g. copper, steel, plastic) * Preparing tools, materials, and fittings on site * Supporting with cutting, measuring, and handling of pipework * Helping with moving materials and general site duties * Maintaining a clean and safe working area * Following health & safety guidelines at all times Requirements: * Previous experience on construction or M&E sites (preferred but not essential) * Basic mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn * Valid CSCS card * Good attitude, punctual, and team-oriented * Own PPE (hard hat, boots, high vis – other PPE may be provided)
