Senior Estimator – Commercial Roofing (Refurbishment) South London / Hybrid £50,000 – £70,000 Car Allowance Benefits Join a Growing Roofing Specialist with Real Career Potential A well-established, family-run commercial roofing contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to lead its estimating department. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in roofing refurbishment who’s ready to take on more responsibility. You'll be heading up the estimating function, supporting the wider team, and playing a key role in the company’s continued growth across London and the South East. If you're commercially aware, technically confident, and enjoy working with people, this role offers the chance to make a real impact. What You’ll Be Doing * Leading the estimating department and managing all pricing activity * Handling tenders, site visits, client meetings, and proposals * Mentoring junior estimators and supporting their development * Pricing additional works and variations on live jobs * Working closely with project and commercial teams to ensure smooth handovers * Staying on top of market trends, costs, and compliance * Contributing to leadership meetings and shaping the department as it grows What We’re Looking For * Strong estimating experience, ideally in roofing or refurbishment * Confidence in pricing complex works and identifying both risks and opportunities * Experience managing people or running an estimating function * Excellent communication skills — clear, confident, and professional * Organised and comfortable working to deadlines * Good IT skills and a full UK driving licence * Based within commuting distance of Tolworth / Surbiton What’s on Offer * Salary of £50,000 – £70,000 depending on experience * Car allowance or company car * Flexible / hybrid working * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Pension contributions * Training and career development * Regular team events and activities * Wellbeing allowance, retail discounts, and Cycle to Work Scheme * Free on-site parking * A supportive, values-led team culture This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s ready to take the next step in their career.
