About the Company: Our client is a well-established and growing tarmac surfacing contractor, delivering road surfacing, reinstatement, and highways maintenance projects across the Northwest and surrounding areas. With a strong reputation for quality and reliability, they are now seeking a Work Scheduler to support their expanding operations team. The Role: The Work Scheduler will play a vital role in planning and coordinating daily surfacing works, ensuring resources are deployed efficiently and projects are delivered on schedule. This position requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with site teams, suppliers, and clients. Key Responsibilities: Schedule daily and weekly work programmes across multiple crews Coordinate the allocation of plant, vehicles, materials, and subcontractors Monitor job progress and update schedules as needed to reflect operational changes Liaise with site supervisors, contracts managers, and clients to ensure seamless delivery Maintain accurate planning records and documentation Ensure compliance with permit windows and streetworks requirements (where applicable) Ideal Candidate: Experience in a scheduling, coordination, or planning role within construction, highways, utilities, or civil engineering Strong time management and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in planning or job management systems Knowledge of NRSWA/streetworks processes (desirable) Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) Company pension Opportunities for professional development Supportive, fast-paced working environmentWhat You Need to Do Now: If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or reach out to Adam at or (phone number removed).
