Your new role Our client is seeking an experienced Planner to lead the development and management of tender and project programmes. Working closely with the Pre-Construction, Commercial, and Project Delivery teams, you'll ensure realistic and efficient programmes are developed, maintained, and communicated across all phases of each project. Key responsibilities: Develop tender and contract programmes using Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject Liaise with estimators, bid managers, and project managers to build robust delivery plans Manage critical path analyses, resource & cost loading, and sequencing Monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle and update programmes accordingly Provide input into construction methodologies and sequencing strategies Attend tender interviews, progress meetings, and client presentations as required Support risk identification and programme mitigation strategies Ensure all planning documentation is clear, accurate, and aligned with commercial objectives What you'll need: Proven experience in a Planner role within construction, ideally in fit out or refurbishment Proficiency in Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6 Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methodology, and commercial impacts Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider pre-construction team What you'll get in return: £60,000 - £75,000 basic salary (depending on experience) competitive package 25 days holiday bank holidays Join a Sunday Times Top 100 company with a strong pipeline of exciting projects Work within a high-performing, supportive team that values collaboration and doing things right Ongoing opportunities for professional development and career progression Want to shape how complex construction projects are delivered from day one?
