We’re excited to offer an opportunity to join a leading global manufacturer as a Shipping Coordinator at their Peterborough site. In this vital role, you’ll be part of a high-performing Supply Chain team, responsible for planning, arranging, and processing international shipments. Your work will directly support global operations, ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of goods across borders. What You’ll Be Doing Coordinating shipments based on product availability and customer needs Working with freight carriers and customers to schedule collections Preparing and sending accurate shipping documentation Submitting and maintaining export entries for all overseas shipments Ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations and internal control standards What We’re Looking For Customer Service Excellence Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to respond quickly and professionally to internal and external stakeholders Attention to Detail High levels of accuracy in documentation and shipping processes Proactive approach to minimising errors and learning from experience Adaptability Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment Open to change and alternative ways of working Import/Export Compliance Confident in preparing and submitting export documentation Committed to meeting international trade compliance standards Transportation Logistics Experience arranging domestic and international transportation Skilled in resolving shipping delays and working with various transport modes Preferred Experience Knowledge of HMRC duty suspension schemes Familiarity with Incoterms and SOX compliance Previous experience in international shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations
