As we expand, we're looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our growing development team — someone who’s eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a supportive tech environment. ️ What You’ll Do As a Junior Software Developer at Calton, you will: Collaborate with a cross-functional team to build and maintain scalable web applications Write clean, testable code in Python (backend) and React.js (frontend) Use MongoDB to manage and query data effectively Work with AWS services to deploy and maintain applications Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and design discussions Learn continuously with support from senior developers and mentors ✅ What We’re Looking For We don’t expect you to know it all — but we’re looking for someone who brings curiosity, energy, and a solid foundation: Familiarity with Python and JavaScript (React.js) Basic understanding of databases, especially MongoDB Some exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Willingness to learn, ask questions, and contribute ideas Good communication and collaboration skills Basic English (reading technical docs); fluency in Italian is a plus Recent graduates or self-taught developers are welcome! If you’ve built personal projects or completed a bootcamp, show us what you’ve done.
