They are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Attorney to join their thriving business practice, with a strong focus on advising startups and growth-stage companies. This full-time, direct hire role offers a base salary of $150,000 - $200,000 plus a strong discretionary bonus, profit sharing, and robust benefits. Who We're Looking For We're seeking a collaborative and business-minded attorney with a solid background advising startups, emerging companies, and investors on a wide range of corporate finance matters. The ideal candidate brings a proactive approach to client service and enjoys working closely with founders, entrepreneurs, and innovative companies at all stages of growth. A background in venture capital financing, mergers and acquisitions, and general outside counsel services will position you for success in this role. What To Expect as a Corporate Finance Attorney Counsel startup and early-stage companies on entity formation, governance, and capitalization Represent clients in equity and debt financing transactions, including seed, angel, and venture capital rounds Draft and negotiate complex agreements such as investor rights agreements, stock purchase agreements, and convertible notes Advise clients on legal issues related to scaling, hiring, contracting, and compliance Support clients through strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and exits Serve as outside general counsel to a diverse portfolio of businesses across industries Collaborate closely with colleagues across practice areas, including tax, employment, and litigation Qualifications For Success 5 years of experience in corporate finance law with a focus on startups and venture-backed companies Strong understanding of equity financing structures and venture capital deal terms Skilled in contract drafting and negotiation Client-first mindset with the ability to simplify complex legal issues for business stakeholders Admission to the Washington State Bar (or eligibility to waive in) Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team Why This Role Stands Out High visibility role in a growing practice representing some of the region's most innovative companies Collegial team with strong mentorship and leadership opportunities 100% employer-paid health and dental coverage for employees Generous PTO, hybrid work flexibility, cell phone reimbursement, transportation reimbursement, annual bar cost, and marketing budget Regular firm-hosted events – weekly coffee chats, all firm happy hours, social committee events Fully stocked snack closet; lunch brought in for various events Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 Reference: 147627 ZR IND1 Company Description Mission Recruiting is a dynamic full-service, corporate recruiting company working with a diverse array of clients and candidates.
