Trial Attorney - Insurance Defense (Hybrid)

Job Description Job Description Job Title: Trial Attorney – Insurance Defense Location: San Jose, CA (hybrid) Salary: $150-185k annually Marquee Legal Staffing has partnered with a national, full-service law firm to recruit candidates for a litigation attorney opening in Silicon Valley. This is a full-time, hybrid associate position with an immediate start date. You will work closely with law firm partners and client businesses, including Fortune 100 companies, on cases involving insurance defense, general liability, and construction defects. The ideal candidate is someone looking to hit the ground running with new cases while handling multiple responsibilities in a common-sense working environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through trial. Conduct all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial. Represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, and mediations. Maintain strong relationships with clients and demonstrate exceptional service and communication. Qualifications: Two or more years’ experience in defense litigation, including trial experience. A history of practice in general liability, construction law, and/or insurance defense strongly preferred. Extensive experience in all pretrial phases, including client communication, written discovery, motion practice, and depositions of parties and experts. Licensed to practice law in California.
