Job Description

Joomla Developer Remote | Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire Opportunity We’re looking for a technical and detail-oriented Joomla Developer to help support the digital presence of local government agencies. In this role, you’ll work closely with internal teams and clients to maintain, improve, and transition municipal websites using a well-established content management system. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior team members to onboard new public sector clients onto our website platform Migrate and reorganize legacy website content and documents in a clear, structured format Execute content updates and revisions on active websites Perform periodic site audits to spot inconsistencies and suggest enhancements Optimize and reformat assets like images and PDFs for web display Apply and test system updates to the CMS Support client training efforts on site usage and maintenance Deliver timely and attentive post-launch support to assigned accounts Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in customer success, technical support, or a CMS-related role Strong knowledge and experience with Joomla! CMS and tools such as cPanel, WHM, Freshdesk, Google Workspace, ClickUp, or Adobe Creative Suite Strong communication and organizational skills High attention to detail with a solutions-oriented mindset Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple tasks Enthusiasm for learning new systems and best practices Understanding of web languages like HTML, CSS, and PHP Background in Linux server environments Fluent in English Nice to Have: Experience in the SaaS industry, particularly in providing solutions to local governments.
