Interim Project Manager – Net Zero Implementation (Real Estate) Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid) Rate: Up to €750 per day Contract: Interim (freelance/contractor) Duration: 7 Months, Full-time Start date: 1st September 2025 Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for sustainability and real estate? We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead the implementation of a global Net Zero (NZ) programme for a major international organisation headquartered in Amsterdam. What You’ll Be Doing: Oversee the delivery of a high-impact Net Zero implementation programme across a large and diverse real estate portfolio Ensure seamless transition and coordination from consultancy phase into full implementation Work closely with internal sustainability and real estate stakeholders to manage timelines, track deliverables, and support alignment across multiple teams Coordinate three key Net Zero workstreams and contribute to the development of a 2026 implementation roadmap Operate under the guidance of in-house climate and sustainability experts ✅ What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in programme or project management, ideally in sustainability, ESG, or real estate Ability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders Experience delivering results in large corporate environments, ideally in global or matrixed organisations Strong communication, coordination, and strategic planning skills Based in or able to commute to Amsterdam (hybrid working available) This is a fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in driving forward a leading Net Zero agenda within the built environment.
