Junior Data Analyst (Intern)

G-nous is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join its Bari office as part of the activities carried out for its client, the European Space Agency (ESA) . The intern will be involved in business process analysis, data collection and processing, and the production of reports to support decision-making. Activities Analysis of business processes and enterprise information systems Collection of user requirements Collection, analysis and visualization of business data using Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI), definition of KPIs, and development of interactive reports Design and preparation of data models to support analysis and reporting Support in the validation and testing phases of implemented solutions Presentation of results to the client Drafting of operational manuals and project documentation Requirements Undergraduate or recent graduate in STEM, Economics, or Statistics Proficient in English (minimum B2 level, both written and spoken) Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Strong teamwork skills, problem-solving attitude and analytical mindset Attention to detail, ability to multitask and results-oriented approach Legal residency in Italy Nice to have Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Good working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation Basic knowledge of Python Experience or training in data cleansing and data modelling Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform suite (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) Career Growth and Development On-the-job training in Business Intelligence tools and the Microsoft Power Platform suite Opportunity for professional growth in an innovative and international environment Contract type 6-month extracurricular internship Possibility of subsequent employment with the company Location : Bari, with hybrid work possibility
