Material Planner

Job Posting: Material Planner Location: Mexico City. Department: Manufacturing / Logistics Industry: Automotive Manufacturing Position Objective Ensure the timely availability of materials through efficient supply chain planning, supporting uninterrupted plant operations and compliance with customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Analyze customer portals and generate accurate material forecasts Create purchase requisitions based on the master production schedule Monitor inventory levels, avoiding stockouts or excess inventory Coordinate deliveries with suppliers, sister plants, and internal teams Track material consumption and generate reports (KPIs, in-transit status) Identify and manage obsolete or slow-moving materials Candidate Profile Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields Experience: Minimum 3 years in materials planning or logistics (preferably in automotive or metal-mechanical industries) Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, forecasting tools, and inventory control methods, MRP, Excel.
