Customer Service Agent (JBA) - Cape Town

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a dedicated Customer Service Agent to join our clients dynamic team in Ottery, Cape Town. Responsibilities: Capture and process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently Respond to customer inquiries, handle feedback, and resolve complaints professionally Provide regular updates to customers regarding order status and delivery timelines Track and monitor outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery Communicate with freight forwarders to request shipping estimates and book shipments Prepare and manage export documentation, including SAD500 and commercial invoices Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Incoterms and apply them appropriately during shipping processes Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment Requirements: Matric certificate (minimum); tertiary qualification in a relevant field is advantageous Proven experience in a customer service, logistics, or export administration role Strong understanding of the export process and related documentation Experience with SAD500, freight forwarding communications, and Incoterms Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and other relevant systems Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving attitude Benefits Salary: negotiable Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
