This firms Corporate team continues to grow and they are looking to recruit a lawyer to join them. You will deal with a broad range of corporate transactions including complex, challenging and high-profile corporate matters. The team covers M&A, corporate restructuring, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Ideally this role would suit an individual who has connections to the Highlands, Islands or Moray and who is proactive in business development in these areas however this is not essential. You must be able to work well within a team environment and be capable of dealing directly with numerous and varied client enquiries and transactions at any one time. The role is ideally suited for those who have ambitions to progress their career and is comfortable with a significant amount of client contact. The Commercial Real Estate teams are also looking for a Solicitor, they are well known for their work across commercial and residential development, and in the investment, marine economy, energy supply chain, healthcare, hospitality, leisure and industrial sectors. They are looking to grow the team to meet client demand and market opportunities. The team deals with commercial property purchases and sales, leases and lease management work, investment, development, portfolio management, corporate support and funding; offering a great opportunity for a responsive and driven lawyer who will be given direct client contact, business development opportunities and support to make the most of their talent. The Private Client team are looking, you will have a varied caseload and will deal with all aspects of Wills, trusts, estate planning (to include IHT and CGT planning), executries and adults with incapacity matters. We would love the successful candidate to have existing experience of each of the following: Advising on inheritance tax and estate planning, including agricultural and business property reliefs. Drafting Trusts and complex Will provisions to meet clients’ bespoke needs. Managing executry and trust administrations, including for taxable complex estates Delivering proactive and detailed advice to clients particularly in relation tax planning
