The energy industry is advancing with investment in smart technology innovation and Northern Powergrid, as the company responsible for powering everyday life for 8 million customers across 3.9 million homes and businesses in the Northeast, Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire, is at the forefront of delivering a power network that meets the region’s needs, now and in the future. As a Telematics Project Manager, you will support the procurement and implementation of a new telematics solution for fleet vehicles. This will include liaison with potential and subsequent telematics providers and working with key internal stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the new solution. Along with a competitive salary up to £42,000, we also offer Enrolment into our double matched pension scheme 25 days holiday (increasing with tenure) plus bank holidays 10% retention bonus Key Responsibilities: •Liaison with internal key stakeholders to ensure that the specification of the new telematics system meets the business needs •Assist in evaluating initial tender responses •Arranging and supporting presentations from perspective suppliers •Coordinate the installation of the new telematics solution by working with the new telematics provider and internal colleagues •Analyse Telematics data and work with the business to improve driving performance Key Competencies: •Strong IT and analytical skills •Good written and verbal communications •Ability to work with minimal supervision •Good time management and able to work to challenging deadlines •Excellent planning and organisation skills •Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with internal colleagues and external service providers •Excellent collaborative working skills in support of directorate and business goals Essential qualifications and experience: •Full clean UK driving licence •Experience working with Microsoft Office products •Excellent customer service and people skills Desirable qualifications and experience: •Previous experience of project management •Previous experience working with Telematics •Analytical experience Applicants are considered on the basis of their suitability for the post irrespective of sex, marital status, sexual orientation, gender re-assignment, race, age or disability, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
