Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor Preston £65,000 - £70,000 Package About the Role We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) or experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our dynamic team in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute professional with a strong background in leading multiple construction projects from inception to completion. You'll play a key role in managing project costs, ensuring value for money, and driving financial efficiency across our growing portfolio. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage cost planning, procurement, and commercial reporting on multiple live projects. Lead contract administration and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers. Conduct regular site visits and liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders. Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and ensure timely financial reporting. Ensure all commercial practices align with company policies and contractual obligations. Support and mentor junior team members when necessary. Requirements Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor. Proven track record managing multiple construction projects (residential, commercial or industrial). Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts. Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation desirable). Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
