We’re partnering with a global organisation at the forefront of international sport and live events, currently experiencing record levels of commercial interest. They're now seeking a Legal Counsel to support their race promotion and global hosting agreements a high-profile area of the business involving major city and government partnerships. This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer looking to blend complex commercial work with global exposure and high-impact deals. Key Responsibilities Draft and negotiate international hosting and event promotion agreements Advise on event commercialisation, operations, insurance, guarantees, and regulatory issues Draft IP licences for event branding and marketing use Manage ongoing promoter relationships and legal queries Support on support-race agreements and associated legal documentation Additional exposure includes: NDAs, MOUs, and early-stage territory discussions Legal input on sponsorship, licensing, and hospitality deals Supplier contracts and data protection terms Cross-functional commercial support and legal research What We’re Looking For England & Wales qualified solicitor with training from a top-tier firm Commercial or corporate experience, ideally with some exposure to media, sport, or events Strong drafting skills and sound commercial judgement Proactive, organised, and confident managing workstreams Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset The Offer Competitive salary and bonus 4 days a week in the office (central London office) International scope and high-level commercial work Supportive, high-performing legal team If you are open to finding out more, then click apply below or if you have any questions, please feel free to email me at luke.masih@thesjp.co.uk
