The Opportunity Location: North West England We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Site General Manager to lead all site operations and business functions. You’ll ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production that aligns with divisional goals while championing a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer-first thinking. Key Focus Areas: Lead a proactive health & safety culture and deliver on all compliance requirements Drive high standards in product quality and food safety Improve material and labour efficiency, reduce waste, and embed lean thinking Collaborate closely with engineering to optimise site performance Control budgets and deliver cost efficiencies Inspire and develop high-performing teams with clear succession planning Champion clear communication and cross-functional collaboration to deliver production targets Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to maintain our reputation for service excellence What You’ll Bring: Proven leadership in chilled food manufacturing (7-10 years in a senior role) Strong grasp of food safety, compliance, and supply chain dynamics Expertise in operational excellence, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment Ability to motivate teams, develop talent, and foster a high-performance culture What’s In It for You?
