Architect (Commercial) Waterloo, London Salary up to £45k (depending on experience) Hybrid Working About the Company A small to medium-sized, RIBA-chartered architecture practice based in Waterloo is seeking a talented architect with a minimum of two years’ post-Part 3 experience to join its friendly and award-winning team. The practice works on a variety of high-end projects across London, including new-build and refurbishment schemes. These typically comprise mixed-use developments with components such as headquarters buildings, retail, hospitality, education and arts facilities. Many projects involve the restoration of unique buildings and demand a sensitive yet innovative architectural approach. About the Role This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled architect with proven experience in the commercial sector, particularly in delivering high-quality projects in London. The role is ideally suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative studio environment and is eager to take on responsibility in both design development and site delivery. Key Responsibilities and Requirements Minimum two years’ post-Part 3 experience Demonstrable experience in high-quality commercial projects in London (essential) Strong technical ability and problem-solving skills, with confidence in developing design solutions and managing delivery on site Experience acting as lead designer and coordinating with contractors and consultants Proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD, with excellent design and technical capability Strong communication skills, both written and verbal A self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently Personable, collaborative, and enthusiastic team player Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
