Construction Solicitor 4 PQE Central London Legal 500 Firm Hybrid Working Salary DOE on experience I’m working with a well-regarded law firm based in Central London who are looking to recruit a Construction Solicitor with 4 years’ PQE . This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team within a firm known for its high-quality work in the construction and infrastructure sectors. About the Role The role is primarily focused on non-contentious construction matters , though there will be some involvement in contentious work as well. The successful candidate will work closely with international luxury retailers and global property companies to locally-based developers, leaseholders and freeholders. What the team do: Letters of intent and pre-construction service agreements. Building contracts and sub-contracts. Professional consultant appointments. Collateral warranties. Third party rights. Bonds and guarantees. Bespoke forms and framework agreements. Key Responsibilities Include: Advising on and drafting a variety of construction contracts. Managing non-contentious matters from instruction to completion. Supporting on contentious where needed. Building and maintaining strong client relationships. Actively contributing to business development and marketing initiatives. Mentoring junior team members as appropriate. What They’re Looking For: A UK-qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' PQE in construction law. A strong background in non-contentious construction is essential. Some exposure to contentious work is beneficial but not mandatory. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills. Someone commercially astute, confident in client-facing situations, and proactive with business development.
