Google Cloud Engineer Employment Type: Contract Location: Sheffield (3 Days Onsite) Rate: Up to £675/day - inside ir35 Join a major digital transformation programme as a Google Cloud Engineer , working at the forefront of cloud innovation within a globally renowned financial services firm. Key responsibilities: Design and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud adoption and automation Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform), and container orchestration Ensure compliance, security, and performance across cloud solutions Required skills: Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform) Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) Understanding of networking, security, and cloud best practices Experience working in large-scale, enterprise environments What’s on offer: Day rate: £650–£700 Hybrid model: 3 days onsite in Sheffield Initial contract with likely extensions Inside IR35 If you’re a cloud-savvy engineer with a passion for GCP and a track record of delivering within regulated environments, this one’s for you.
