Job Title: Project Designer PSDP Location: Manchester Contract Type: Contract Industry: Construction Role Overview: EHS International is recruiting a Project Designer on behalf of our client for an engaging construction project in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for Health & Safety professionals with construction site experience to contribute to the safe design of commercial and industrial facilities . Key Responsibilities: Support the design of layouts that reduce on-site safety risks during construction and operation Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 in all design documentation Work closely with site H&S managers and project engineers to identify and eliminate hazards at source Assist with pre-construction health and safety information and risk logs Incorporate safe access, egress and maintenance considerations into every design phase Requirements: Experience in a Health & Safety role within construction, civil engineering or architecture Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation including CDM 2015 Awareness of construction design standards and safety-by-design principles Experience contributing to risk assessments or method statements CAD software knowledge (AutoCAD, Revit etc.) is desirable but not essential To apply , contact Chris Mee directly at chrismee@ehsint.com or call 353 87 812 6186 .
