Accountant

For this particular assignment, we're looking for an Accountant to join an international company based in Waterloo . Your responsibilities * Process and record incoming and outgoing invoices in a timely and accurate manner * Prepare, verify and execute supplier and internal payments * Handle VAT declarations and ensure timely submission in accordance with local regulations * Assist with the monthly closing process: prepare accruals, review accounts, and ensure proper cut-off * Support external audits by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries * Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports * Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations Your profile * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent through experience * Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in an accounting role * Strong understanding of Belgian VAT rules and basic accounting principles (BE GAAP) * Solid Excel skills (e.g. working with formulas, filters, pivot tables) * Fluent in English and French - both written and spoken * Experience with ERP systems (willingness to learn is key) * Able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently to meet deadlines, especially during closing periods * Communicative team player with a hands-on attitude and an eye for detail * Eager to work in a dynamic and international environment What we offer * A permanent contract with Robert Half Project Sourcing * Competitive salary package with fringe benefits (company car, meal vouchers, group insurance, etc.) * Continuous coaching, training, and access to a large professional network * Diverse projects that boost your expertise and career Ready to make an impact as an Accountant in a dynamic international environment?
