Operations Manager

We are looking for an operation and launch specialist to support the deployment and growth of Uber’s new Taxi business in Mexico. This role will be critical to ensuring launch readiness, supporting day-to-day operations, and building repeatable playbooks for future city rollouts. Location: Mexico City Mode: Hybrid Duration: 1 year of contract Work hours: 9 am – 6 pm Key Responsibilities ● Drive operational readiness, program management and execution for initial Taxi launches ● Own performance tracking, issue resolution, and early-stage optimization ● Manage testing, onboarding, and quality assurance workflows ● Collaborate with CommOps, Support, and Safety to ensure smooth experience for both riders and drivers ● Maintain operational documentation and lead process improvements ● Help shape business cases for future feature development and product needs ● Support ad hoc expansion and growth initiatives across new markets Qualifications ● 5 years of experience in operations, program/project management, or launch roles ● Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems independently ● Detail-oriented with a process improvement mindset ● Effective communicators in cross-functional environments ● Experience with user testing, product workflows, or customer support operations is a plus ● English fluency a must
