Location: Northern Tasmania (North West Coast Port City) Dates: July 27, 2025 – August 5, 2025 Daily Rate: Up to $3,500/day The Opportunity Skilled Medical is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician / FACEM for a rewarding locum opportunity at a modern 160-bed facility on the North West Coast of Tasmania. This role is ideal for Emergency Doctors looking for short-term medical contracts in regional Australia. You'll play a critical role in providing essential emergency care to the community. We have specific shifts available from July 27, 2025, to August 5, 2025, including: 27/07/2025 - 14:00 - 23:30 28/07/2025 - 15:30 - 01:00 on-call to 07:30 following day (MOIC) 29/07/2025 - 15:30 - 01:00 on-call to 07:30 following day (MOIC) 30/07/2025 - 15:30 - 01:00 on-call to 07:30 following day (MOIC) 31/07/2025 - 15:30 - 01:00 on-call to 07:30 following day (MOIC) 01/08/2025 - 14:00 - 23:30 03/08/2025 - 14:00 - 23:30 05/08/2025 - 07:30 - 17:00 *MOIC = Medical Officer in Charge Key Requirements AHPRA Registration as a Specialist in Emergency Medicine (essential) Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) highly regarded. Right to Work in Australia (essential) Current Driver's License (essential) Proven experience in a busy Emergency Department environment.
