Job Description

An Northern QLD hospital requires a Clinical Nurse Specialist/Consultant in Mental Health - Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team (MIRT) Dates: ASAP - 31.08.2025 About the Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team The Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team provides clinical case management for adults aged between 18 and 65 years with complex mental health needs, who require more intensive rehabilitative support to recover from mental illness. Mandatory Experience • Mental health case management experience • Competent in completing an ECG • Ability to provide intramuscular injections • Current Drivers Licence Desirable Experience • Knowledge of CIMHA database • Knowledge of ieMR and proficiency in using this system • Previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health • Knowledge of Mental Health Act 2016 Mandatory Competencies • BLS competency • Manual and patient handling • Infection control • Aggressive behaviour management • Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and/or Midwifes for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect • Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012 • Responsibilities in relation to the Aged Care Act and elder abuse Additionally, the candidate must agree to undertake any of the following as required by our HHS: • Integrated electronic medical record training • Online induction training • Any other training as requested Please complete the form below and attach your CV.
