We are hiring Import & Export Specialist Candidates must be based Queretaro, México Reporting to Operations Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and manage import/export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of lading (BL/AWB), certificates of origin, and other regulatory paperwork. Coordinate customs clearance processes and compliance across Mexico, the US, Canada, and Latin America (e.g., Colombia, Peru, Honduras, Guatemala). Classify products with the correct HTS codes and validate tariff codes with customs brokers. Apply international trade agreements and government regulations ( TLCUE, COFEPRIS, SEMARNAT). Review and reconcile invoices from freight forwarders and customs agents, ensuring accurate charges for freight, handling, storage, and insurance. Track and record all shipments in ERP and/or Excel; maintain real-time updates on transit, customs clearance, and delivery. Handle discrepancies, shortages, or damages by raising claims with suppliers and coordinating with insurance agents as needed. Assist in internal and external audits by organizing shipping records and supporting documentation. Provide support to logistics and purchasing meetings with insights from the import/export process. Requirements 3 years of experience in import/export, international logistics, or foreign trade. Deep knowledge of customs regulations in Mexico, USA, and Honduras. Proficient in Incoterms 2020 (EXW, FOB, DDP). Skilled in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and documentation processes. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills.
