Senior Data Analyst

Job Title- Senior Data Analyst with Scrum experience Remote Contract Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming) for one or more analytics and data teams. Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and manage data analytics and reporting deliverables. Remove impediments to the team’s progress and shield the team from external disruptions. Guide the team on Agile/Scrum best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Track and communicate key metrics (velocity, sprint burndown, etc.) to stakeholders to ensure transparency. Partner with data engineers, data scientists, BI developers, and business analysts to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between analytics teams and business units (Finance, Marketing, Operations, etc.). Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance, security, and compliance standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 3 years working with data and analytics teams. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and practices; Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) is preferred. Experience working in analytics environments (data warehousing, BI tools, data visualization, data pipelines, etc.). Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile project management platforms. Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
