Project Coordinator

Your new company Our client is an expanding construction company that focusses on the building of commercial and institutional projects. Projects undertaken in recent years include firehalls, health centers, aquatic centers and seniors housing facilities. Projects tend to be in the $2-30m range and they comprise a mixture of ground-up construction and renovations. The company is located in Surrey and they pride themselves on having a close-knit, team-oriented environment. The owners are very hands-on, fair and approachable. They have excellent relationships with clients and trades locally. Despite the changeable market conditions, the company continue to be very busy and have multiple projects in preconstruction. It is anticipated that 2026 will be a stellar year for the business. Your new role We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support and learn from 2 experienced Construction Managers. You will work in the company head office in Surrey but you will liaise closely with the Superintendents and site teams. In the role you will gain broad exposure to preconstruction, budgeting and build phases of projects. The opportunities for learning and professional development are considerable. What you'll need to succeed Candidates for consideration should have 1-3 years’ experience as Project Coordinator with a General Contractor or Developer/Builder locally. Ideally candidates will also have a relevant technical education such as the BCIT ABET Diploma. You must be a proven self-starter that is organized and diligent. You must be a collaborative person that enjoys working as part of a dynamic close knit team.
