Job Description
A leading construction company specializing in Foundations, Ground Improvement, and Shoring is seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join their team. With a strong legacy of quality and innovation, the company delivers exceptional results across a range of infrastructure projects. Their expertise includes Large-Diameter Piles, DTH drilled piles, Screw Piles, Stone Columns, Timber Compaction Piling, and Shoring systems such as Sheet Piles, Cofferdams, Combi-Walls, and H-Pile Lagging Systems. Key Responsibilities Support daily operations of ground improvement, foundation, and shoring projects with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery. Interpret geotechnical reports, focusing on bearing capacities, settlement tolerances, and groundwater control. Coordinate and oversee pile load tests, PDA testing, CPT, and static load tests. Inspect installation of piling, stone columns, or caisson works, ensuring compliance with specifications. Liaise with geotechnical consultants on site conditions and unexpected challenges. Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain project schedules. Mentor junior staff and conduct field assignments as needed. Promote and uphold Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards. Qualifications & Requirements Degree or diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering. Must be a registered P.Eng Minimum 5 years of project management experience in geotechnical engineering. Proficiency in ground improvement techniques, foundations, and driven piles. Strong skills in contract management, scheduling, and financial oversight. Familiarity with regulatory approvals and trade standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and time management abilities. What’s in it for you?
