Job Description
We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Markham, Ontario. In this role, you will support various Human Resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee inquiries, while ensuring efficiency in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, adaptable, and thrives on multitasking to meet diverse HR needs.Responsibilities:- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.- Prepare and manage onboarding packages, employee profiles, and related documentation.- Generate HR analytics reports using tools like Excel, including creating pivot tables and performing VLOOKUPs.- Support recruitment efforts by reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate records.- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and system access, offering clear and timely assistance.- Maintain and update employee data in HR systems, including Dayforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance.- Assist in the creation and refinement of training guides and HR policies.- Collaborate with the HR team to provide administrative support and ensure alignment with organizational goals.- Act as a point of contact for employment verification letters and similar requests.- Provide essential payroll support by entering and updating employee information in relevant systems.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR coordination or a related role.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.- Familiarity with HR systems such as Dayforce and ADP- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.- Experience with full-cycle onboarding and recruitment coordination.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees and candidates effectively.- Basic knowledge of payroll and employee benefits administration.- A proactive and adaptable attitude, with a focus on problem-solving and delivering results.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
