Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our team. This critical role is responsible for managing the full-cycle payroll process for over 300 hourly and salaried employees, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery. In addition to payroll responsibilities, the position oversees benefit administration. The ideal candidate will have experience using ADP Workforce Now along with strong communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Manage full-cycle payroll processing for 300 hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.Handle payroll-related year-end functions, including Issuance of T4's, EHT reconciliations, WSIB reconciliations.Upload payroll journal entriesEnsure payroll records are maintained in compliance with legal and company standards.Enter and manage employee changes, including new hires, terminations, and updates.Prepare and issue Records of Employment (ROEs) promptly and accurately.Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.Act as a point of contact to answer employee questions regarding benefits packages.Monitor and enhance payroll and benefits processes to improve efficiency and ensure adherence to federal, provincial, and company regulations.Stay updated on payroll-related legislation and trends to ensure compliance.Partner with HR and finance teams to facilitate smooth payroll and benefit processes.Communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders regarding payroll and benefits matters.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of full cycle payroll administration Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and time and attendance platforms is required.Completion of, or enrollment in, the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification is preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical to success in this role.Must have exceptional accuracy and attention to detail when managing payroll and benefit functions.Adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience in benefits administration.A team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.If you are interested please apply today for immediate consideration!Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
