Operations Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Operations Specialist to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our quarterly market strategies, including goal setting and distribution tracking. Leveraging your analytical skills, you will provide insights into key performance metrics and ensure operational excellence in merchandising and sales planning.Responsibilities:- Analyze and track performance metrics to evaluate regional assortment success and ensure alignment with corporate goals.- Support quarterly go-to-market strategies by managing goal-setting processes and monitoring distribution progress.- Collaborate with merchandising teams to operationalize assortments and deliver an exceptional sell-in experience.- Maintain and manage product lifecycle data, ensuring timely availability of products in stores.- Enter and update orders in enterprise systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.- Utilize tools like Excel and PowerPoint to create and manage reports, track progress, and share updates with stakeholders.- Address and resolve issues related to missing products and order discrepancies.- Monitor and track booking closures, ensuring adherence to deadlines and accuracy in reporting.- Provide system support and training to team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.- Partner with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales planning and customer service initiatives.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, sales planning, or a related field.- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and enterprise systems like ERP.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and provide actionable insights.- Experience with CRM systems and data processing tools.- Familiarity with merchandising processes and product lifecycle management.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.- Background in customer service and training is an asset.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
