If you're ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you!Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Accounting and Finance Manager, you will oversee the financial health of the organization by managing and optimizing its accounting and financial operations. Key responsibilities include: Financial Management: Develop and oversee the organization's financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.Accounting Oversight: Manage day-to-day accounting functions, such as accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining company policies and standards.Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of accounting and finance professionals, fostering growth and development.Strategic Contributions: Provide financial insights to key stakeholders to drive operational and strategic decision-making.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and operations.Audit Coordination: Lead efforts for internal, external, and regulatory audits.QualificationsTo excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.Proficiency in financial software and/or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).Advanced Excel skills and a knack for data analysis and reporting.Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
