Electrical Project Manager - BESS

Our client - A rapidly growing clean energy scale-up that’s reshaping the way temporary power is delivered around the world. Backed by recent funding, they've built the world’s largest online platform for clean, mobile energy systems. With operations expanding across Europe, they’re now looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join their high-performing team and help deliver reliable, zero-emission energy systems on the ground. Role Summary - This is a dynamic position for someone who thrives in a scale-up environment. You’ll manage the technical side of deploying mobile battery systems from logistics and transport to integration and on-site assessments. This role will see you work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure every project runs smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end planning, coordination, and installation of mobile battery systems and related electrical infrastructure. Serve as a technical advisor on grid compatibility and customer integration, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with energy suppliers, grid operators, and clients to prepare for installations and address on-site technical needs. Provide on-site and remote technical support during deployment, commissioning, and operations. Optimise deployment processes using data-driven insights to improve efficiency and performance. Troubleshoot system failures in collaboration with external electrical partners to minimise downtime. Act as the go-to technical point of contact for internal stakeholders (operations, sales, development) and external customers. Candidate Profile - We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of technical expertise, operational confidence, and a drive to make things happen: Experience in electrical project management - ideally within energy storage, grid integration, or industrial energy systems. Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field. Strong understanding of energy system deployment challenges. Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiar with grid connection standards and safety protocols. Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and organised.
